Season Starts for 6 Horses at Pine Top Advanced HT

I competed four horses over the weekend at Pine Top Advanced HT. Unmarked Bills (Posse xx – Red Ransom xx) had an easy trip around the Advanced division, jumping extremely well around Derek di Grazia’s beautiful but bold and technical course. I couldn’t be happier with the way Billy feels heading into an exciting spring season!

Faramund (Fidertanz – Donnerschlag) had his first outing of the 2019 season. He confidently jumped around the large Intermediate track to finish 5th in a field of top horses.

Sandro’s Star (Sagnol – Nostalgia’s Star xx) also had a very successful first event of the season. Sandro put in a beautiful dressage test and added just a handful of time faults cross country to finish the weekend in 9th place.

Lute and Sweet (Midnight Lute xx – Sweet Determination xx) continued her top results with a 2nd place finish in the Open Training, her very first start at this level. We are extremely excited for the future of this lovely young horse!

Ellie Leonard and Alvescot Moneymaker (aka Maisie) completed their second event since arriving on the east coast. Ellie and Maisie made easy work of the Training finishing an impressive 8th in her competitive Open Training division.

Emma Keahon and PS Duty Calls (aka Doogie) stormed around their first preliminary together to finish in 3rd in the JYOP. An impressive finish for a 16 year old who has done a tremendous job developing Doogie!
I couldn’t be anymore proud of our program and thankful for everything that everyone at Zaragoza Acres has put into and continues to do so on a daily basis for each one of not only our horses but also ourselves.

Thank you to our incredible sponsors for their continued support!

We are very excited to kick off the season with very successful runs by everyone and we’re greatly looking forward to the season ahead!
